DPM Simović opens water supply system in Petrovići: Fulfillment of villagers' ten-year dream

Solving the issue of water supply represents the fulfillment of the ten-year dream of the citizens of Petrovići in Nikšić, it was estimated today at the ceremonial opening of a newly constructed water supply system from which 45 households will be supplied. The water supply system means an opportunity for the revival of this area, the development of agriculture and other activities of importance for the development of this rural area.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Milutin Simović and Mayor of Nikšić Veselin Grbović opened today the EUR 500,000 worth water supply system, funded by the Municipality of Nikšić and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

DPM Simović thanked the citizens of Petrovići for their partnership during the project implementation, as they proved to be good, valuable and hospitable hosts. "This is an important prerequisite for future efforts that we will jointly implement in the partnership between local government, government, local and state public companies and employees, in order to continue the implementation of new valuable projects in the coming period" – DPM Simović said.
