Prime Minister Duško Marković attended the concert of young Montenegrin soprano Tamara Rađenović on Saturday night at the Carnegie Hall in New York, and on that occasion promised her the State's support in her further career, saying that Montenegro is proud of young, successful people who represent us like this in the world.
Tamara Rađenovic is 23 years old. Last year, she graduated solo singing at the Royal College of Music in London, which is under the patronage of the British royal family. She is first Montenegrin artist who performed at Carnegie Hall – one of the most prestigious concert halls in the world.
Following the concert, Rađenović gave a statement to Television of Montenegro, saying that she was delighted and honoured by the fact that her debut at the Carnegie Hall was attended by Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković.

Last month, Tamara sent a letter to the Prime Minister inviting him to the concert that coincides with the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Respecting your tight schedule in New York, I would really be honoured if you could add my concert to your agenda. Although my career, due to the nature of the work, will be mostly international, I am a great patriot and I want to be the ambassador of my country. I never forget my beloved Montenegro. Therefore, I had to invite you to the concert – Tamara Rađenović wrote to Prime Minister Duško Marković in August.
Tamara preformed alongside her guests, soprano Majo Morales Vargas, tenor Mario Chang, and pianist Caroline Dowdle.
