New York, the USA (26 September 2018) -- On the second day of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković spoke with President of the United States of America Donald Trump.

The US President approached Montenegro’s Prime Minister among nearly two hundred statesmen before the start of the luncheon, which took place at the UN headquarters and was hosted by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres for the heads of delegations, and, in a shorter cordial conversation, highlighted the friendship and partnership between Montenegro and the United States.

The two officials stressed that the partnership was confirmed and strengthened by Montenegro's membership in NATO, as well as the country’s clear policy regarding regional stability and multilateral issues that are the subject of this year's General Assembly’s session.
