Government will not allow any non-institutional interferance in economic citizenship programme, process will be implemented within institutions

Due to frequent inaccurate information, as well as unauthorised actions of individuals and companies regarding the intention of the Government of Montenegro to launch the programme of economic citizenship, we inform the public:

1. The Government, through its expert team, prepares normative and procedural preconditions for launching the citizenship by investment programme.
2. The process will be transparent and implemented within state institutions.
3. The programme should contribute to further development and improvement of the economy and infrastructure.

Therefore, the Government will not allow any non-institutional interference in the programme.

We also inform the public that the Government did not seek any external consultations at this stage of process.
