Minister Janović: Pitches for men's sports in function of improving sports and tourist offer of Žabljak

Prime Minister Duško Marković, Sports Minister Nikola Janović and Mayor of the Municipality of Žabljak Veselin Vukićević today officially opened the grounds for small sports in that municipality.

On that occasion, the Minister of Sport Nikola Janović pointed that it was an extraordinary honour and a pleasure to represent the function of the pitch for small sports, in which the Ministry of Sports invested almost EUR 60,000.

The minister highlighted the fact that with the already reconstructed football pitch with artificial grass, which was financed by the Government from the Capital Budget, citizens of Žabljak are now also equipped with a multifunctional terrain where it is possible to play small football, basketball, volleyball, handball and tennis.

"Support for 20 sports infrastructure projects in 15 Montenegrin municipalities in the amount of almost EUR 1 million in just one year is the best confirmation of the dedicated work of the Ministry of Sports on improving sports infrastructure and realisation of defined goals in the field of sports from the exposition of the Prime Minister"- Sports Minister Janović concluded.
