PM Marković: Žabljak will be oasis of peace, cleanliness, high-quality and healthy offer
Žabljak, Montenegro (15 October 2018) -- During his working visit to Žabljak, Prime Minister Duško Marković attended the opening of the Stjepović-Savin Kuk road and multi-purpose small sports courts, as well as the first drive of an electric minibus.
"I am pleased to note that the Government and the Municipality of Žabljak are implementing investments with the best possible dynamics we have promised to the citizens of Žabljak and entire Montenegro," said Prime Minister Marković.
He pointed out that at this moment contracts for investing in Žabljak worth over 13 million euros have been signed, and that 3 million euros will be spent this year, which speaks volumes about the intensive investment in the infrastructure in Žabljak.
“The investor has already received a building permit to start work at a new hotel to be opened next spring. I believe that the Privatisation Council of the Government may select this week investors for the Mediterranean resort, so that next spring we will have two new capital investments in Žabljak. I am satisfied because everything we do in Žabljak we do for the citizens, our economy, new jobs and a better standard of living,” Prime Minister Marković underlined.
