Announcement: Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic to receive delegation of World Bank Parliamentary Network

Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic will receive on Tuesday in Podgorica the delegation of the World Bank Parliamentary Network, which is one in the series of their field visits focusing on the assessment of poverty reduction strategies and the World Banks support to those project. The meeting will be attended by Minister of Labor and Social Care Slavoljub Stijepovic.

The Parliamentary Network of the World Bank is a non-profit association, founded in may 2000 which at the moment comprises 300 members from 70 countries, headed by a nine-member board of directors. The organization encourages direct dialogue between parliamentarians on the issues of poverty as well as the expansion, accountability and transparency of the policies and practices of the World Bank

The meeting will take place at the Large Hall of the Government building at 10 a.m.

Media representatives who wish to attend the opening of the meeting may obtain accreditation from the Government of Montenegro. A press release will be issued after the meeting.
