DPM Simović to take part in meeting of Ministers of Agriculture of SEE in Macedonia

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Milutin Simović will take part in the twelfth annual meeting of the Ministers of Agriculture of South-Eastern Europe, which will be held on 15 November 2018, in Struga, Republic of Macedonia.

The ministerial meeting is organised by the Standing Working Group for Regional Rural Development (SWG) in South-Eastern Europe, whose member is the Montenegrin Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The host is the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Macedonia.

The ministers of agriculture and other top government officials from the participating countries, representatives of the European Commission, as well as international organisations will discuss the results of implementation of agricultural policies in the countries of the region, the degree of reforms achieved in the context of EU accession, and models for improving mutual cooperation.

On the margins of the ministerial meeting, the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture and Rural Development between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be signed.

Deputy Prime Minister Milutin Simović will have a number of other bilateral meetings with colleagues from the region.
