Announcement: Prime Minister Djukanovic meets delegation of World Bank executive directors

Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic received today a delegation of the World Bank executive directors. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Finance Miroslav Ivanisevic and the Central Bank Council Chairman Ljubisa Krgovic.
Prime Minister Djukanovic introduced the World Bank executive directors to current economic and political trends in the Republic, the implementation of strategic reform projects in the field of economics, education and administration and the activities related to the Development and Poverty Reduction Strategy. He particularly emphasized successful realization of the government economic policy for 2003, in all of its aspects and presented the plans for next years furtherance of reforms.
The participants at the meeting agreed that past cooperation between the World Bank and Montenegro was very good and expressed readiness to continue with it in the fields labeled as the Governments priorities in the next period. The World Bank will remain an active partner of the Montenegrin Government in the implementation of those projects.
