DPM Pažin: Montenegro owes its civil identity to anti-fascism

PR Service PR ServiceKolašin, Montenegro (15 November 2018) -- Modern Montenegro owes much to the tradition of anti-fascism, which managed more powerfully than any other historical idea to unite the Montenegrin society in all its diversities, Deputy Prime Minister Zoran Pažin noted at the academy, which took place in Kolašin, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the State Anti-fascist Council for the National Liberation of Montenegro and Boka's (ZAVNO)  and the 70th anniversary since the establishment of the Federation of Veterans Associations of the People's Liberation War of Yugoslavia (SUBNOR).

On this day 75 years ago, DPM Pažin said, freedom-loving Kolašin gathered 538 delegates from all over Montenegro and Boka Kotorska at the historic patriotic assembly, where the National Anti-Fascist Council of People's Liberation of Montenegro and Boka was established, as the highest political body of the Montenegrin People's Liberation Movement .

The Deputy Prime Minister Pažin stressed that the great anti-fascist and liberal idea in Montenegro resisted all the temptations of history in the decades that followed, constantly refreshing  the paths of humanity and humanity for the Montenegrin society.
