Podgorica, Montenegro (21 November 2018)  -- Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated on the Municipality Day to the citizens of Budva.

"Being aware that transport infrastructure is one of the most important preconditions for the development of tourism, in previous years we reconstructed or built every kilometre from the Capital City of Podgorica to Budva. At this moment we are focused on the construction of a boulevard from Tivat to Jaz, which will improve the traffic flow and provide better connection with both Montenegrin airports," the Prime Minister's congratulatory letter reads.

Prime Minister Duško Marković said that these activities unambiguously confirm the commitment of the Government to develop modern roads and tourist capacities, thus contributing to the growth of living standards throughout Montenegro.

"I am convinced that, as well-intentioned participants in the overall development of our country, you recognise that the implementation of the most important infrastructure projects is primarily aimed at improving the quality of life for you and your families. The Government will remain committed to creating conditions for a greater inflow of foreign direct investments, which will ensure further tourism development of Budva. In an economic environment with the highest standards, we will continue to improve the quality of life of Budva and all the citizens of Montenegro," Prime Minister Duško Marković noted in his letter.
