Podgorica, Montenegro (23 November 2018) -- "The past two years, and especially the last one, were of great importance for the development of the Ministry of Defence's projects, but also for the reform and modernisation of the Armed Forces of Montenegro," Defence Minister Predrag Bošković told today's press conference.

Minister Bošković spoke about the new organisation and formation structure of the Armed Forces of Montenegro, which was approved by the Montenegrin Cabinet a few days ago, according to which the military will maintain a force of 2.368 members in peacetime and 5,159 members in wartime. He emphasised that the Ministry and the Armed Forces pay particular attention to harmonising the structure of the military with the needs of the State and its size, which also implies significant rejuvenation of personnel.
