Montenegrin-Slovak Mixed Commission for Implementation of Agreement on Economic Cooperation holds its first session

The first session of the Mixed Commission for the Implementation of the Agreement on Economic Cooperation between the Government of Montenegro and the Government of the Slovak Republic was held on 3 and 4 December 2018 in Bratislava, pursuant to Article 3 of this Agreement.

The Montenegrin delegation was led by Minister of Economy Dragica Sekulić, while the Slovak delegation was led by Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic Peter Žiga.

The goal of the session was to discuss the concrete modalities of cooperation that will improve bilateral economic relations and further development of mutual cooperation in the areas defined as mutually beneficial: trade and economic cooperation, tourism, energy and energy efficiency, industry and innovation, cooperation in the field of environmental protection, agriculture, digitalisation of public administration and other priority areas.

The officials signed the Protocol from the first session of the Montenegrin-Slovak Mixed Commission for Economic Cooperation, which defined concrete modalities of cooperation between the two countries.

Minister Sekulić also met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Richard Raši.
