Montenegro to open Chapter 27 - Environment on Monday

Montenegro will open negotiations in Chapter 27 - Environment and Climate Change on Monday, 10 December, at the Intergovernmental Conference in Brussels.

The Montenegrin delegation will be led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Srđan Darmanović. Chief Negotiator with the EU Aleksandar Drljević, Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism Pavle Radulović, Negotiator and Head of the Working Group for Chapter 27 Saša Radulović and Ivan Vojinović will be also in the delegation.

The Intergovernmental Conference confirms the successful implementation of reforms in all areas related to the environment and climate change. It is also a confirmation of the determination and commitment of the Government and the whole society to protect the environment, preserve its rich biodiversity and implement the principles and standards of sustainable development.
