Interior Minister Mevludin Nuhodžić leads delegation of Montenegro to Marrakech at Intergovernmental Conference on Migration

The delegation of the Government of Montenegro led by Interior Minister Mevludin Nuhodžić traveled today to Marrakech, Kingdom of Morocco, to participate in the Intergovernmental Conference on Migration under the auspices of the United Nations General Assembly, which will be held on 10 and 11 December 2018.

Minister Nuhodžić will address the plenary session of the high-level conference dedicated to the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration.

On the margins, Minister Nuhodžić will hold bilateral meetings with officials of the United Nations and member states, as well as representatives of other international organisations.

The participation of the delegation of Montenegro at the Intergovernmental Conference is an opportunity to present the realised activities in terms of building national capacities for the eventual reception of migrants and refugees, in the event of their inflow, in accordance with international standards in this field.
