Press Release: Prime Minister Djukanovic meets attendees of Cetinje Parliamentary Forum

Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic today had separate meetings with Deputy Speaker of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Rita Sussmuth and Deputy Speaker of the Croatian Parliament Luka Bebic, attendees at the Cetinje Parliamentary Forum.
Djukanovic and Sussmuth exchanged their views on the situation in the region, relations within the State Union in the light of recent Serbian parliamentary elections and the reform policy of the Montenegrin Government. Sussmuth showed particular interest in economic and social aspects of reforms, supporting the Governments efforts as a necessary step in the process of approaching European standards and Euro-Atlantic integration.
During the talks with the Deputy Speaker of the Croatian Parliament Luka Bebic the emphasis was placed on bilateral relations between Montenegro and Croatia, which were found to be quite satisfactory with no disputable issues. The two officials expressed readiness to promote and expand the cooperation, particularly with regard to economic issues.
Djukanovic and Bebic also expressed their satisfaction with the position of the Montenegrin ethnic minority in Croatia and Croatian ethnic minority in Montenegro, as an important element for mutual trust and bilateral cooperation.
In addition, Prime Minister Djukanovic today hosted a formal dinner for heads of delegations present at the Cetinje Parliamentary Forum.
