Podgorica, Montenegro (11 December 2018) -- Minister of Sports Nikola Janović hosted earlier today Dejan Vukčević, a member of the national Jiu-Jitsu team and a member of the elite unit of the Montenegrin police, a gold medal winner at the 2018 World Seniors Championship in Malmo, Sweden.
Minister Janović emphasised that he is particularly pleased that Dejan Vukčević is his guest today, because, apart from being a great athlete who once again confirmed the best results on the world stage, he, as a member of the elite unit of the Montenegrin police, deals with very demanding and risky tasks. Dejan, as Minister Janovic pointed out, is an example of the fact that, despite facing risks at work every day, his love for sports, his persistence in work and his countryhood show how he defends the colours of the national team at major world competitions.
Mr Vukčević thanked Minister Janović for his support and stressed that the Ministry of Sports has always evaluated his results in the right way, and took this opportunity to thank his colleagues and Head of the Police. Mr Veljovic, for understanding his demanding sports obligations.
Minister Janović underlined that the Government of Montenegro and the line ministry will, as always, support Montenegro's athletes who are the best promoters of the State in the world.
