PM Marković wishes happy Tuzi municipal day

Podgorica, Montenegro (14 December 2018) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated the leadership and councilors in the Municipal Assembly on 15 December - the Municipal Day of Tuzi.

"Our partnership with the new leadership will be dedicated to creating conditions for the progress of the municipality through investments in road, utility and social infrastructure. On the other hand, the state institutions will fully support the rapid establishment of local government bodies so that citizens can exercise their rights in the shortest possible time in a way that fits the independent municipality," the Prime Minister states in his congratulatory letter to presidents of the Municipality Abedin Adžović and the Municipal Assembly Fadil Kajoshaju .

The Prime Minister said that he is honoured to congratulate the Day of the Municipality on behalf of the Government, during whose mandate the conditions for the status of the independent municipality of Tuzi have been created, wishing the citizens of the municipality to celebrate the holiday in an atmosphere of coexistence, good neighbourly relations and traditional multinational and multireligious harmony.

"I am convinced that the results of our policy, which are primarily reflected in the continuous economic growth and fulfillment of foreign policy goals, namely the membership of Montenegro in NATO and the effective pursuing of the European agenda, which has given its confirmation in the recent opening of one of the most demanding negotiating chapters - Chapter 27, will result in boosting quality of life of citizens of Tuzi and Malesija," Prime Minister 's letter reads.
