Opinion polls: Prime Minister Marković most meritorious for overall reforms

Podgorica, Montenegro (18 December 2018) -- According to a opinion polls conducted for the purpose of developing the Communication Strategy for European Integration, which was presented earlier today, Prime Minister Duško Marković and the Government of Montenegro have been recognised by the public in Montenegro as the stakeholders that contribute most to the reforms and integration of Montenegro into the EU.

The field survey, commissioned by the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro and the EU Info Centre, and conducted by DeFacto Consultancy from 29 August to 18 September 2018 on a representative sample of 1,004 respondents from all over Montenegro, showed that 72.4% of citizens rank first the Government's contribution to the process of Montenegro's European integration. The Parliament (62.2%), the Office for European Integration, the media, proceed.

When it comes to reforms, 61.6% of citizens rank Prime Minister Duško Marković first. Next comes President of Montenegro Milo Đukanović (58.5%) and Deputy Prime Minister Milutin Simovič (53.4%).
