Monograph "Legislation Secretariat 1968-2018" testifies to persistence of Montenegro in creating legal system based on universal human values

Podgorica, Montenegro (18 december 2018) -- The first publication, dealing with the work, institutional development and the role of the current Secretariat for Legislation in creating and improving the legal system of Montenegro, was presented today in Podgorica in the presence of the top officials from all three branches of government and prominent lawyers.

The monograph titled "Secretariat for Legislation 1968 - 2018," by Dušanka Jauković, Secretary of the Secretariat for Legislation, and Slavica Bajic, Assistant Secretary, published in Montenegrin and English, illustrates the development of bodies dealing with the issues of legislation, monitoring and improvement of the legal system of Montenegro from 1946 to 2006, as well as the role of the Secretariat for Legislation in creating and improving the legal system of the independent and sovereign State of Montenegro from 2006 to the present.

Dušanka Jauković expressed her special gratitude to the Government of Montenegro and Prime Minister Duško Marković, who, in her words, showed understanding and fully supported the monograph, which was of crucial importance for its publication.
