The activities of the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro (USSCG) are largely complementary to the basic commitments of the Government, which puts the social and economic position of employees, i.e. all citizens of Montenegro into the focus of its policies, Prime Minister Duško Marković said in a congratulatory letter addressed to Secretary General of the USSCG Srđa Keković on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Union.

"In the first decade of existence and work, you are recognised by consistent efforts to improve the overall position of employees in line with modern standards of trade unionism and their inclusion in wider socio-economic processes," the Prime Minister's letter reads.

PM Marković said that we see the USSCG as a partner, which should additionally contribute to the improvement of the economic environment and fairness within all the associations that deal with the rights of employees.

"The Government will continue to pursue its policies aimed at achieving better living conditions of each family and individual, as it is in developed countries of today," Prime Minister Marković said in his congratulatory message.
