The Ministry of Science of Montenegro has prepared a promotional film, which presents the results of its activities in the past two years and the work planned for the future period.
The video material contains key messages of Prime Minister Duško Marković about the determination of the Government of Montenegro to further develop science and innovations by implementing reform measures, raising the quality of the national scientific research community, developing an international network of cooperation, and intensifying the integration of science and business.
The Minister of Science, Dr. Sanja Damjanović, stresses that major progress can be achieved only if there is a clearly defined vision. She points out that the key to success is teamwork, thanks to which the Ministry of Science has made a lot of progress in the period behind us.
The film, inter alia, brings information about the results of the Ministry of Science in terms of networking with the largest European scientific institutions, the initiative for the establishment of the South East European International Institute for Sustainable Technology – SEEIIST, and the establishment of the first Science and Technology Park in Montenegro.
A special emphasis has been placed on the implementation of the programme of attractive scholarships for doctoral research and grants for innovative projects, which are aimed at improving the conditions for the development of an innovative ecosystem in Montenegro and enhancing the motivation of young talented people to utilise their knowledge and engage in scientific research in their own country.
