Session of Operational team for monitoring implementation of Strategy for prevention and suppression of terrorism, money laundering, terrorist financing 2015-2018

Podgorica, Montenegro (11 february 2019) -- Session of the National Operational Team for Monitoring the Implementation of the Strategy for the Prevention and Suppression of Terrorism, Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing 2015-2018, and the Action Plan 2017-2018 took place in Podgorica earlier today.

The session was chaired by Head of the Operational Team and Secretary of the National Security Council Slavko Stojanović, and attended by members of the Operational Team from ministries of justice and the Interior, Police Authority, Ministry of Defence and General Staff, National Security Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The session passed the minutes of the previous session of the Operational Team and the proposals of the 15th six-month report to the Government of Montenegro, the 3rd and 4th quarterly reports to the Bureau for the operational coordination of the activities of the intelligence and security sector bodies on the implementation of the Strategy for the Prevention and Suppression of Terrorism, Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism 2015 -2018, and the Action Plan 2017-2018.

The session also discussed the activities related to the development of the Strategy for the Prevention and Suppression of Terrorism, Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing for the period 2019-2022.
