The procedure for the construction of Zeleni dvorac (Green Palace) in Bajice began at the order of Prime Minister Duško Marković. The urban-technical requirements for the facility were issued on 7 February.
The construction of Zeleni dvorac in Bajice is an obligation deriving from the Law on the status of descendants of the Petrović-Njegoš dynasty, and with the consent of Prince Nikola Petrović Njegoš, the project documentation will be drafted in the shortest possible time.
The implementation of this project, as well as the procedure for transferring the remains of the dynasty to Montenegro, will contribute to the correction of the historical injustice done to the dynasty Petrović-Njegoš.
At the recent meeting with Prince Nikola, Prime Minister Marković stressed that fulfilling obligations to the descendants of the Petrović-Njegoš dynasty is a state issue. The Prince stated that the Government shows respect for the family Petrović and the history of Montenegro, which additionally encourages more efficient fulfillment of legal obligations towards the dynasty.
Prince Nikola Petrović Njegoš announced greater presence and intensification of activities in Montenegro and we are convinced that with the Government's support they will affirm the historical and traditional values cherished by our country.
