Collaboration at the regional level is crucial for successful activities in the Adriatic

The delegation of the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs and the Maritime Safety Directorate, headed by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs Muamer Hajdarpašić, stayed in Croatia on 6 and 7 February, and on that occasion held a series of meetings with colleagues from Croatia.
At a meeting held with Assistant Minister of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of Croatia, Siniša Orlić, attended by the Director of the Maritime Safety Directorate of Montenegro Safet Kočan and his associates, a number of concrete activities have been agreed to increase the level of safety at sea.
At a separate meeting attended by the Director of Adriatic Sea Administration Jadran Klinec with their associates, the possibilities for joint preparation of project proposals that would be financed by the EU funds and other countries of the Adriatic-Ionian region were discussed.
The State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Hajdarpašić and the Director of Maritime Safety Directorate in Rijeka attended the Open Doors Day of the Adriatic Training and Research Center - The Adriatic Educational Research Center for Emergency Response to Marine Pollution.
ATRAC is already recognized as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience in Croatia and beyond and it is an opportunity for Montenegrin institutions to continuously improve their activities and system functioning in a continuous manner.
