Statement from Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic on Action Week/Global Campaign for Education

On the occasion of the Action Week/Global Campaign for Education, sponsored by the World Education Internationale, Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic has issued the following public statement:

In view of the fact that this week is dedicated by UNESCO to hundreds of millions of children who do not attend school, I take the opportunity to express my support for this noble initiative. It is in the interest of all citizens to secure optimal conditions for education of the vital part of the Montenegrin society their children. It is our duty to provide equal chances for the achievement of individual ambitions of millions of young people, particularly since the education reform is the priority of the Government of the Republic of Montenegro.

Education for All is an invaluable idea aimed at stimulating development and prosperity of Montenegro, and it has been recognized as such in all strategic documents on the education reform.

Djukanovic: It is our duty to provide equal chances for the achievement of individual ambitions of millions of young people, particularly since the education reform is the priority of the Government of the Republic of Montenegro.
