The Government of Montenegro has allocated more than EUR one million for the construction of rural waterworks throughout Montenegro this year, thus creating better living conditions for the inhabitants in the rural area and the chances for further development of agriculture and entrepreneurship in rural areas.

"The construction of 31 waterworks is planned, with 40 km of primary and 15 km of secondary water supply network. The implementation of these projects will contribute to the creation of better working and living conditions in the rural area. Around 3,500 households in 15 municipalities across Montenegro will receive water," said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Milutin Simović, who presented the 2019 Water Promotion Programme in Lješanska Nahija.
