Minister of Sports and Youth Nikola Janović hosted today Montenegrin karate team members Milena Jovanović and Nenad Dulović on the occasion of the success achieved at the recently held European Championships in Aalborg. President of the Karate Federation of Montenegro Ivan Krstajić also attended the reception.

Jovanović won silver, while Dulović won the bronze medal.

Minister Janović emphasised that he is especially pleased that they have earned the status of promising athletes, thus earning the right to one-year scholarship, and that he is proud that in this year we already have 18 young athletes with this status.

Jovanović thanked Janović for continued support and stressed that she was particularly happy to represent Montenegro, which values the work and efforts of young athletes in the right way.

Krstajić pointed out that the Federation has excellent cooperation with the Ministry and that the State properly recognises the important results, and that such awards mean a lot to our young athletes as an incentive for new victories.
