Prime Minister Duško Marković told today at the opening ceremony of the Ski Resort Kolašin 1600 that this project, like the rest of the government's work on winter tourism and ski centers, will be a strong incentive for further development of the North and its overall progress.
"Today we witness the realisation of the developmental vision of the north and the whole country, and I would say even more than that. Today we testify that the words and promises and plans we have in the development process are transformed into action. By opening the 1600 Ski Center, we are actually entering the final phase of completion of the Kolašin Ski Resort, which will be an stimulus not only for Kolašin, but for the north as a whole. I believe that this project and what we do when it comes to winter tourism and ski resorts in Bjelasica, in the area of the municipality of Mojkovac, in the area of the Bijelo Polje and Berane Municipality will be a powerful incentive for the further development of the north and its overall progress," the Prime Minister said.
He expressed the belief that these investments will be incentive for starting businesses in other sectors.
"First of all, in agriculture, in the food industry, in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises of various activities, this will all be sure to encourage the opening of a huge number of new jobs, new opportunities for young people, good earnings and I believe an overall higher standard of citizens in Montenegro" Prime Minister Marković said.
Expressing satisfaction with the successfully realized investment, the Prime Minister concluded: "Today I am truly satisfied and proud. Satisfied because we see that Montenegro has the capabilities and opportunities to develop and to live better in Montenegro than today; that in Montenegro today we have people who are capable and committed to implementing such projects, and of course, we all contribute to the development of Montenegro as a whole and, most importantly, the quality of life of its citizens."
