Responding to the claims of the NGO Network for Affirmation of the Non-Governmental Sector (MANS), which insinuate that the aircraft of the Government of Montenegro was used twice "for the holidays of the highest state and party officials", and in order to provide accurate information Public Relations Service of the Government of Montenegro announces the following:

The flight to Palma de Mallorca, which is the subject of MANS' interest, took place on 13 September 2018, and a return flight two days later, on 15 September 2018, for the purpose of a two-day working visit by Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković with a delegation to Iberostar, headquartered in Mallorca.

The delegation consisted of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Culture with associates at the invitation of the owner of the Iberostar, Miguel Fluxà Rosselló.

We note that all the costs of accommodation and handling of aircraft (other than fuel costs) were borne by the host of the delegation of the Government of Montenegro - Iberostar.

It is one of the world's leading and largest companies in the field of tourism that has been present in Montenegro for more than a decade, which last year implemented two major projects important for the development of our tourism economy, which the public is familiar with.

Among other things, the visit covered the contents of the new investments of this company in our tourism industry, as well as the consideration of models for valorisation of cultural goods in order to develop tourism and economy.

The flight to Malta, also insinuated by MANS, took place on 24 January 2019, and a return flight on 1 February 2019. It was an emergency service of the aircraft, which was carried out by an authorized service engineering M.C.M (Maintenance Centre Malta).
