PM Marković hosts CRBC's Du Fei: Motorway's priority section will be completed in mid-2020, outstanding issues resolved

Podgorica, Montenegro (8 March 2019) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković hosted earlier today a CRBC delegation, headed by General Manager Du Fei.
It was noted that works on the priority section of the Bar - Boljare motorway are progressing well and that there is no doubt that the first section of the largest infrastructure project in the recent history of Montenegro will be completed in mid-2020.
The meeting also found solutions to all outstanding issues regarding the priority section.
PM Marković said that this is a project that is not only a construction venture, but also confirms friendship and strengthens links between Montenegro and China.
The CRBC's General Manager thanked PM Marković for continued support for the company's efforts and expressed willingness to continue cooperation with Montenegro by constructing other sections of the motorway, right after the completion of the priority one. In that regard, Prime Minister Marković informed Mr Fei that he expects that the Draft Law on Public-Private Partnership will be passed by the Government soon and forwarded to the Parliament. After adoption, the Prime Minister stressed, normative conditions will be created for the transparent launch of appropriate public procedures for the construction of the next sections.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of China to Montenegro Liu Jin, General Manager of the CRBC for Central and Eastern Europe Zhang Chiaojuan and General Manager of the CRBC for Montenegro Hei Shiqiang.
