A conference entitled “Towards Entrepreneurial Innovation Ecosystems in Montenegro” will take place in Podgorica on 25 March, in the period from 9.30 to 16.00.

The conference is organised on the occasion of completion of the EU project “Horizon 2020 – Policy Support Facility – Specific Support to Montenegro”.

The project entitled “Towards Entrepreneurial Innovation Ecosystems in Montenegro” was launched in June 2018, with intensive activities undertaken by the EU experts engaged and the project team in Montenegro already in the second half of the year. The event marks the finalisation of the project and provides an opportunity for the project’s results to be presented, as well as to engage in discussion, with the stakeholders from Montenegro and those from abroad, about the implementation of the recommendations and the establishment of an effective entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem.

Those present at the conference will be addressed by high-level speakers including: Mr. Dusko Markovic, Prime Minister of Montenegro, Ms. Signe Ratso, Deputy Director-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission, Ms. Sanja Damjanovic, Minister of Science, as well as by the EU experts engaged on the project and other prominent guests from different sectors. The event will create room for an open discussion of the topic with the most active stakeholders in the innovation community of Montenegro, assisting at the same time in better implementation of the Programme of Incentives for Innovative Start-ups, adopted by the Government in December last year. A special guest and speaker at the event will be Emeritus Professor Nebojsa Nakicenovic from Vienna.

The agenda for the event is available HERE.
