PM Marković to lay foundation stone of Elementary School and Music School in Bijelo Polje

Prime Minister Duško Marković will lay the foundation stone of the new building of the Elementary School and school for elementary music education "Dušan Korać" on Tuesday, 26 March 2019, at 11:00 in Bijelo Polje.

A new school building of 8,000 square meters will be built on the empty lot of the existing Elementary School and is designed to accommodate 1,200 students.

The facility, whose construction costs about EUR 5.4 million, will contain 20 general purpose classes, six special-purpose cabinets, all-day facilities, a library, a physical education room with accompanying equipment, administrative and other premises.

This is another in a series of projects financed by the Government of Montenegro from the Capital Budget in order to increase the quality of teaching and standard of living in the North region.

The construction contract was signed in the first half of this month.
