Contract for preparation of technical documentation and construction of six-seater ropeway and ski trails at Žarski in Mojkovac signed

The Public Works Administration and company Novi Volvoks from Podgorica signed a contract on drafting the preliminary design, the main project and the construction of a Z4 six-seater ropeway at Žarski ski resort in Mojkovac, based on the "Design and Build" project.

The Government will invest EUR nine million in the implementation of this strategic project in order to continue valorisation of tourist potentials and improve the standard of living, especially in the North.

The main designer and manufacturer of equipment which will be installed at Žarski ski resort is the Italian company Leitner, one of the largest manufacturers of ropeways in the world. The quality and standard Leitner applies in its projects are recognised in all countries, and its ropeways can be found in the most attractive ski resorts.

The deadline for completing the preliminary design of the six-seater ropeway is two months from the day of signing the Contract, for drafting the Main Ropeway Project four months from the day of acceptance of the Preliminary Design, and for the completion of the construction of the ropeway and ski trails 12 months from the introduction of the contractor into the business.
