Podgorica, Montenegro (1 April 2019) -- The Government of Montenegro signed with Podgorica-based Fidija company a contract on the construction of a pedestrian bridge over the Podgorica - Bijelo Polje road, in the municipality of Mojkovac.
The value of works, which the Government of Montenegro finances from the Capital Budget, is around EUR 1 million with VAT, and the contracted deadline for the completion of works is seven months from the introduction of the contractor into the business.
The pedestrian bridge will be nearly 63 meters long, 7 metres wide and has a straight line along its entire length. At the end of the bridge, a downward spiral ramp of five meters is planned.
The implementation of this project will enable the connection of the sports-recreational zone of the city with the city centre, at the same time contributing to the greater safety of the traffIc participants.
