PM Marković to pay official visit to Romania on Wednesday
Prime Minister Duško Marković traveled to Bucharest for an official visit to Romania, at the invitation of Prime Minister Vasilica Viorica Dăncilă.
After a solemn welcome with official honour and official talks with the host - Prime Minister Vasilica Viorica Dăncilă - Prime Minister Duško Marković will meet with President of Romania Klaus Werner Iohannis and representatives of the Parliament.
The return visit of PM Marković to Romania, after the official visit of Prime Minister Dăncilă to Montenegro, will be an opportunity to exchange views on the traditionally good bilateral relations between the two countries.
The meetings of Prime Minister Marković with the highest officials of Romania, which in the first half of this year presides over the Council of the European Union, will be an opportunity to further affirm Montenegro's achieved results in meeting the criteria for EU membership, and ask for support for the opening of the last Chapter 8 - Competitiveness, as well as for support in closing chapters where internal readiness has been achieved. The officials will also exchange opinions about the cooperation of partner countries within NATO, as well as the current situation in the region and beyond.
