Bošković congratulates 70 years of Alliance: In modern history there is no more long-standing and more successful political-military alliance than ours

Today NATO marks 70 years of existence. On this occasion, Minister of Defence Predrag Bošković sent a video message in which he congratulate the allies on the seven decades of the establishment of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

"In modern history, there is no more long-standing and more successful political-military alliance than ours. It is not just a military alliance, but an alliance that promotes the rule of law, the protection of human rights and democracy during all these 70 years," Bošković said. He pointed out that the allies are gathered around key values and principles, to which they are infinitely committed and which are a solid foundation for the guarantee of stability and longevity.

"NATO is more credible today than ever before. It preserves the security of our territory, but it projects stability beyond its borders. Our credibility is based on adaptability, efficient coping with modern security challenges and a strong unity of allies," Minister Bošković emphasised.

The Minister expressed the belief that the Alliance is able to respond to all future tasks if we remain united in diversity and committed to the "all for one and one for all" principle.
