DPM Simović: EU support for agriculture more visible on field

Budva, Montenegro (10 April 2019) -- Montenegro and its agricultural producer has already significantly benefited from the EU pre-accession support for the development of agriculture and rural areas. In the context of the implementation of the current IPARD programme of non-refundable investment support, it is necessary to speed up the process of contracting support, because its effects, through the modernisation of agriculture, creation of new jobs and the development of rural areas, are the most visible on the field, said the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Milutin Simovic at the IPARD conference, which took place in Bećići.
