PM Marković takes part in Eighth Summit of Heads of Governments of CEE countries and China in Dubrovnik

Prime Minister Duško Marković will travel tomorrow to Dubrovnik, where he will take part in the Eighth Summit of Heads of Governments of Central and Eastern Europe and the People's Republic of China on 11 and 12 April.

The theme of the event, organised under the Cooperation Mechanism of the People's Republic of China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe (16 + 1), will be the construction of new bridges through openness, innovation and partnership.

During his stay in Dubrovnik, PM Marković will hold a bilateral meeting with Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang and Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković.

The Prime Minister of Montenegro will also attend the opening of the Economic and Trade Forum 16 + 1. On the margins of the Summit, Prime Minister Marković will also meet with representatives of Chinese companies.

The 16 + 1 initiative, launched in 2012 and initiated by the Chinese Government, is aimed at improving business and investment relations between 17 countries. Heads of governments of 16 + 1 countries meet once a year.
