Agreement between Montenegro and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

The meeting of the Mixed Commission in the field of international road transport between the delegations of Montenegro and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland was held today in the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs.

At the meeting, the Protocol and the initialed text of the Agreement between Montenegro and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on international road traffic, regulating the relations of passengers and cargo, facilitates the flow of goods and passengers and removes a number of administrative barriers.

The agreement was initialed by Dalibor Milošević on behalf of the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs of Montenegro and on behalf of the United Kingdom Department of Transportation of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Price Duncan.

The aforementioned delegations agreed that the present agreement would provide for a complete liberalization of the cargo transport between the two countries, in transit and transport to / from a third country, which for carriers carrying out transport between the two countries means a significant reduction of administrative barriers and a restriction of the cargo market.

Also, it was concluded that there is space and potential for improvement of mutual cooperation and improvement of trade exchange, and the signing of the aforementioned Agreement contributes to the modern organized international transport between Montenegro and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
