Government sings agreement on technical documentation development and infrastructure construction of ski center Žarski

The Government of Montenegro signed today an agreement on technical documentation development and the construction of infrastructure of ski resort Žarski in Mojkovac. The value of the contract is EUR 1,478 million, which the Government of Montenegro will allocate from the capital budget.

The contracted works include the development of the main project of a catering facility and a parking lot in the future ski center, as well as the construction and furnishing of a catering facility with access roads and a path to the ski resort. Furthermore, works on infrastructure connectivity are envisaged.

The contractor, Naš Mojkovac consortium, based in Podgorica, represented by Inženjering put Podgorica, has committed to develop the Main Project within three months from the day of signing the contract, while the deadline for the execution of works is 10 months from the introduction of the contractor into the business.

Investing in ski center Žarski represents a continuation of activities that the Government of Montenegro is implementing in order to improve the tourist offer and development of the north of the country.
