PM Marković congratulates Passover: Holiday days remind us of fostering communion and gatherings, as well as of community of peace and coexistence

On behalf of the Government and in his own name, Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated President of the Jewish Community of Montenegro Đorđe Raičević and the citizens of the Jewish religion on the Passover, a holiday celebrating the liberation of the Jewish people from ancient slavery.

"Respect for human rights, including the right to freedom of religion, is a prerequisite for building a complete democratic and prosperous society. Montenegro is an example of a country that builds on these principles better conditions for the lives of all its citizens, regardless of religion and nation. It is these festive days that remind us of fostering communion and gatherings, as well as of the community of peace and coexistence," the Prime Minister's congratulatory message reads.
