The construction of electrical grid for the needs of future cable cars within the ski complex Cmiljača and Žarski will start in the coming days, and the first elements will be completed by the end of the current year.

The contract, signed yesterday by the Public Works Administration and Podgorica-based company "Eminent", specifies the construction of the electrical substation 35/10 kV in Majstorovina in Bijelo Polje. The value of this investment, which will be financed by the Government of Montenegro from the Capital Budget, amounts to more than EUR 1.18 million, and the deadline for the completion of works is six months from the introduction of the contractor into the business.

The project is part of the activities that the Government is continually implementing in order to valorize the tourist potentials of the north of the country. Installation of cable cars has already been agreed for the ski resorts Cmiljaca and Žarski, and the estimated value of complete investments at these two sites is more than EUR 52 million.
