Prime Minister of Republic of North Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, on Thursday and Friday in official visit to Montenegro, joint government session

Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia Zoran Zaev will travel to Podgorica on Thursday, 23rd May 2019 for a two-day official return visit to Montenegro at the invitation of the Prime Minister, Duško Marković.

During the visit, a joint session of the Government of Montenegro and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia will be organised, after which a number of bilateral documents will be signed, and the Business Forum Montenegro - North Macedonia, with the participation of the Prime Ministers, ministers and businessmen of the two countries.

Prime Minister Marković was in official visit to the Republic of North Macedonia on October 16 and 17, 2017. On that occasion, the Prime Ministers Marković and Zaev concluded that between the two friendly states there are no open or unresolved issues, that the relations are excellent and that they are developing for the benefit of the citizens of both countries and that they can and should represent an example in the whole region of the Western Balkans. They also announced intensification of economic cooperation.

Signing documents

1. Agreement between the Government of Montenegro and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia on mutual exchange and protection of classified information.
The agreement is to be signed by the Ministers of Defense of Montenegro and the Republic of North Macedonia Predrag Bošković and Radmila Šekerinska.

2. Agreement on cooperation in the field of environment between the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism of Montenegro and the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning of the Republic of North Macedonia.
The agreement is to be signed by the Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism of Montenegro Pavle Radulović and the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning of the Republic of North Macedonia Sadula Duraki.

3. Protocol on Cooperation between the Ministry of the Interior of Montenegro and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of North Macedonia on cooperation in the field of European Integration.
The protocol is to be signed by the interior ministers of Montenegro and the Republic of North Macedonia Mevludin Nuhodžić and Oliver Spasovski.

4. Memorandum of understanding in the field of health between the Ministry of Health of Montenegro and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Northern Macedonia.
The Memorandum is to be signed by the Ministers of Health of Montenegro and the Republic of North Macedonia Kenan Hrapović and Venko Filipče.
