Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic congratulates Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on his reelection to that post

Prime Minister of the Republic of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Croatia Stjepan Mesic for his reelection, wishing him every success in the performance of the important duties associated with his post during the new term of office.

In his congratulatory letter the Prime Minister, among other things, expresses satisfaction with the development of traditional friendship between Montenegro and Croatia, recognizing President Mesics considerable personal contribution and arguing that joint efforts aimed at strengthening good neighborly relations and comprehensive cooperation are of extreme importance for the stability and development of relations based on trust, promotion of democracy and economic progress in the region.

Prime Minister Djukanovic emphasizes that Montenegro has a high regard for the results the Republic of Croatia achieves in the process of integration with contemporary European and transatlantic structures, professing that the Republic of Montenegro and his government will be a reliable partner in that respect.
