Montenegrin delegation, led by Drljevic, held several meetings in Paris, in order to present the latest results in the fight against corruption and organized crime to officials of French institutions. Members of the delegation, consisting of member of the Negotiating Group for Chapters 23 and 24 Marijana Lakovic, Chief Special Prosecutor Milivoje Katnic, Assistant Director of the Police Directorate for Criminal Police Sector Enis Bakovic and Assistant Director of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption Savo Milasinovic met with the representatives of the Presidency, the General Secretariat for European Affairs of the French Government, as well as the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of the Interior.

Drljevic stressed the decisive commitment of Montenegro to EU accession, noting that the process of European integration has a strong transformative power for the entire society, and that the reforms we are implementing already give visible effects. “The EU enlargement to the countries of the Western Balkans is one of the key preconditions for maintaining peace and stability in Europe, and I expect that the enlargement policy will remain high on the EU agenda after the elections for the European Parliament”, Drljevic said.
