Everyone should join cleaning actions, awareness is a key of environmental protection

Awareness of the importance of protecting environment and preserving it through personal example is the greatest contribution each individual can give to environmental protection, it was stated today during the action of cleaning Skaline, which involved more than 150 people.
The representatives of the Government, Union of municipalities of Montenegro, the Capital City, the Armed Forces, Police Administration, diplomatic corps and the civil sector took part in the action of cleaning Skaline on the occasion of celebrating the World Environment Day.
Minister of Tourism and Sustainable Development Pavle Radulovic said that in the next year some of the projects of repairing the biggest pollution point in Montenegro will be completed. “Montenegro is today committed to preserving the environment more than ever, we should start from kindergartens, schools, to explain to all children how important it is”, Radulovic emphasized.
Celebration of the World Environment Day is organized by the Government’s General Secretariat, Union of Municipalities of Montenegro and the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism. Simultaneously, the representatives of local administrations in 20 Montenegrin municipalities, NGOs, and all interested citizens carried out similar actions.
