Thanking the Prime Minister for the warm reception, Mr. Beckstein gave credit to Montenegro for its policy during the whole crisis period in former Yugoslavia, including the accommodation of a large number of refugees, preservation of peace and multiethnic harmony and decisive contribution to the ousting of the former regime, which should be highly valued in European circles. He expressed great understanding for the presented views and positions and a keen interest in further communication and more intensive cooperation, particularly in the field of economic relations and tourist industry.
