PM Marković arrives in Baku for official visit to Azerbaijan

PR ServiceBaku, Azerbaijan (23 June 2019) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković arrived in Baku on Sunday afternoon for an official visit to Azerbaijan, at the invitation of Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov.

Prime Minister Marković was welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev Airport with the highest state honours by Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov.

PM Marković will meet with top Azerbaijani officials and take part in the work of the Montenegro - Azerbaijan Business Forum, which will bring together representatives of the business communities of two countries.

Prime Minister Marković's visit to Azerbaijan will be an opportunity to further affirm good political relations between the two countries and deepen economic ties, including the areas of energy, tourism, agriculture, digitisation, education, science, culture and sports.

During the visit, the 2nd session of the Mixed Commission for Economic Cooperation between Montenegro and Azerbaijan, co-chaired by Minister of Economy of Montenegro Dragica Sekulić, will take place.

At the Azerbaijan-Montenegro Business Forum, organised jointly by the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro and the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), Montenegro will be promoted as an attractive investment and tourist destination.
