During his official visit to Turkey, Minister Nuhodžić met with Honorary Consul of Montenegro, representatives of the Emigrant and Student Associations

During the visit to the Republic of Turkey, the Minister of the Interior Mevludin Nuhodžić met with Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Istanbul, Dr. Akan Suver, on which occasion he expressed gratitude to the consul for the exceptional promotion of Montenegro.

Minister Nuhodzic also met the representatives of the emigrant association originating from Montenegro, who live in Istanbul. Representatives of the association expressed their gratitude to Minister Nuhodžić for the warm welcome and announced that the Republic of Turkey is especially dedicated to the further development of cooperation between the two friendly countries. They stressed that good and resourceful bilateral relations will contribute to further strengthening of economic cooperation. Minister Nuhodžić expressed satisfaction with the meeting and stated that in the forthcoming period the Government of Montenegro will intensify efforts to improve cooperation with our diaspora. He expressed appreciation for the interest and readiness of the emigrants to invest in Montenegro and to participate in projects that are important for the development of the Montenegrin economy.

Minister Nuhodžić also met the representatives of student associations who are studying at prestigious universities in Turkey. Students received positive study experiences, and Minister Nuhodžić emphasized that the project of granting scholarships of the Government of the Republic of Turkey represents an important contribution to further strengthening cooperation in the field of higher education, as well as overall interstate relations. He instructed students to, in a responsible manner, respond to the responsibilities at the university, representing their country in the best manner.
